Help Me Please!!!

Okay I love drawing and stuff, but all my work is sketchy no matter what I do, even when I ink it I still think it looks bad. I am envious of how other people are able to have these nice dark and bold lines in their drawing. Can someone please help me by telling me what I can do, or give me a tutorial? I draw with 0.5 mechanical pencils and will sometimes ink with regular gel-ink pens which I estimate are about 0.7. Please again help me out, I want my art to start looking more professional and less amateur!
